Dear Restaurants and Wait Staff:
It is time to get your teams together for another exciting year of competition to name the 2011 Riverfest Waiters Wine Race Champion to be held Sunday, October 9th, 2011.
Registration begins at 1:30 pm in the CFCC parking lot on Water Street. Competition will start at 2:00 pm. The 2010 champion was The Pilot House. Will they return to defend their title?
If you have never participated this is the year to do so. All teams compete in an obstacle relay race while carrying a waiter’s tray, a bottle of wine and wine glasses. Teams are judged on the amount of wine that is safely returned to the starting table without spilling.
Bring your team spirit and don’t be shy to wear costumes as prizes for Most Spirited and Best Dressed will be awarded at the competition.Prize money will also be awarded for first, second, and third place teams.
